Prioritizing Your Calendar

Published by Freeman Phiri on

downloadWhen deciding what needs to be accomplished each day, each month, each year you first start mentally prioritizing your “To Do List”. Some things are as trivial as “do i have to do my laundry in the morning or should i do it later in the afternoon, should i go visit a friend or buying my grocery is more important, do i have to work overtime to earn extra cash or skip it to spend time with family and friends. There are countless scenarios many with more with serious consequences but the choice of how you spend your day lies with you.
Imagine there is a bank which credits $1000 in your account every day. Whether you use it or not that $1000 is going to be cleared at the end of the day and replaced with another, so one has to use that cash wisely because once it is gone you can’t get it back. The same is happening with time, we are credited with 24 hrs every day. how are we using our time knowing that once a day is gone you can never have it back and you can not undo what you have done on that day.
download (1)Most of us feel like we have too much to do yet too little time to do it.This combination often leaves us overwhelmed and stressed. Learning how to prioritize our schedule can help us gain control of your life by focusing on what’s important and getting it done.
I cannot teach you how to prioritize you time there are better qualified people to deal with that subject. I am a random thinker and right now i am thinking out loud since we are about to leave 2017 and enter 2018.
